The world before
Serious practitioners stayed on 1990s desktop software. For a reason.
A professional astrologer makes judgments a client may carry for years. Behind every judgment is a chart; behind every chart, a calculation. Wrong by a degree, a convention, one mishandled timezone — and the reading built on it is wrong, with no way of knowing.
That is why practitioners endured ageing desktop tools for decades: they trusted the numbers, and no modern web app had earned that trust. We built this platform to earn it.
The insight
In this domain, errors are invisible. So correctness must be the product.
A subtly wrong chart looks exactly like a right one — plausible, internally consistent, and false. Sidereal astrology is layered with conventions: ayanamsa variants, calendar epochs, coordinate signs, historical clock changes. We treated each one as something to be proven, not assumed.
Demonstrated, not asserted
Every core calculation is validated against the established reference implementations professional astrologers already trust — and re-verified by an automated 16-section suite covering charts, divisionals, dashas, ashtakavarga and lagnas.
To the decimal, to the second
Annual charts match independent reference standards to the decimal. Solar-return timing matches to the second. Core computation completes in under a millisecond.
1966’s clocks, handled honestly
A birth decades ago is computed with that era’s actual clocks — including daylight-saving rules abolished long since. The platform knows what time it really was.
It cannot quietly disagree with itself
Calculation state is synchronised and locked, eliminating the class of silent errors where the same birth data yields different charts under load — the defect that ships unnoticed and surfaces in front of a client.

Switching stops being a months-long project and becomes an afternoon’s decision.
That sentence has kept practitioners on ageing desktop tools long after those tools stopped serving them. We treated it as an engineering problem and removed it.
Select your legacy export files — the whole folder at once. The platform reads the undocumented date encodings, inverted coordinate conventions, decades-old daylight-saving quirks and unusual text formats, then shows you every decoded native before anything is saved. Nothing is written until you approve it.
The importer recognises the same client filed twice under different spellings by matching birth data itself, and keeps horary question charts out of your client list.
It was proven on a real astrologer’s export of 117 client charts: every file read correctly, duplicates flagged, question charts identified.
